My Favorite Immune Boosters

Being sick in the winter time has become “normal” in our culture.. just as many other things have become that are not actually natural to our bodies. The good news is we don’t have to get that annual sinus infection, or that cold that never fails to come when the weather changes. How do we avoid this? By building up our immune system so we are strong enough to fight off common winter illnesses.

I use to get sick almost every winter.. and normally multiple times. Once I started learning about building up my immune system to prevent it, I started on a simple regiment of a probiotic & a wellness formula vitamin. And boom! In the last 5 years I have only been sick once.. and the one time I got sick was after flying back home from being out of the country for a week.

Over these past few years I have come across some great immune boosters that I have kept apart of my life year around to prevent sickness. There are many out there.. but these are ones I have personally used & can vouch for!


I always tell friends & family- if you take one vitamin everyday.. it should be a Live Probiotic. A good probiotic is crucial for your overall health. Why? The good bacteria flora in our gut (where 70-80% of our immune system is) determines how we fight sickness, disease, & cancer. It also plays a big role in our digestion & other vital everyday functions. Things like stress, poor diet, prescription pills- especially antibiotics.. can disrupt this flora. When our good bacteria is weakened, it leaves your vulnerable & sets you up for sickness.

Colliodal Silver

This is some old school holistic health right here. Its been around since the early 20th century, but has never received the mainstream attention it deserves. It is a powerful, all natural antibiotic that detects & kills out any disease causing pathogens. Unlike conventional antibiotics- which kills out good & bad bacteria, colloidal silver leaves good bacteria unharmed.. only going after the bad stuff your body doesn’t need. I used a diluted store bought version to cure a inflamed stye outside of my eye & it was gone within 24 hours! I also take it weekly for maintenance & up it to daily when I feel anything coming on. Marine Phytoplankton

Phyto what? Or my favorite is.. You mean like Spongebob? Marine Phytoplankton is a powerful microalgae that is needed to sustain life on a cellular level. It’s¬†loaded with essential fatty acids, amino acids, enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants and trace minerals.. and gram for gram it is one of the most nutrient dense superfood on the planet. Do I need to explain more? Lol. I came across this gem when doing random research.. and it was a game change! The doctor’s article I found talking about it was swearing by this stuff to cure & prevent cancer, disease, and common illnesses. It has helped heal my husband’s stomach that was damaged from years of acid issues. It helped heal our friend’s mom who had lumps in her breast. Wellness Formula

A wellness formular vitamin is very handy to prevent or get you through sickness. Versus taking a bunch of different vitamin, you can get one target towards immune health that is filled with a handful of herbs & vitamins you wouldn’t normally take. Your immune system can be compromised by stress, weather change, lack of proper sleep.. and so on. So anytime the weather changes dramatically, I am under stress, or just don’t feel 100%.. I take my Wellness Formula¬†vitamin. Its also smart to take daily to build up your immune system, then take as needed for maintenance.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is one of the more main stream vitamins that people are familiar & comfortable with.. but its importance isn’t praised enough. Most people think they should just load up on it when they get a cold, but your body’s need for it is much deeper than that! It is a powerful antioxidant that protects our bodies on many levels.. such as¬†from free radical damage, promoting cell health, helping with aging… and so on. It is a water-soluable vitamin, therefor your body cannot store it so it needs to be consumed daily through diet or supplementation.. And not to be there barrier ¬†of bad new- but orange juice is not a good source! Many fresh fruits & vegetables are great sources of vitamin c and you can always find a trustworthy supplement to make sure your getting plenty. When I am feeling sick I take a 500-1000 mg. supplement every hour or so for a boost.. since your body will flush out what you don’t need, I constantly replenish it to be safe!


Garlic has a list of benefits for your health- giving it many characteristics of a superfood. Its has antibacterial, anti fungal, and antiviral components to help prevent & fight sickness. It also promotes cardiovascular health, cancer prevention, and is anti-inflammatory (inflammation is the root of many problems!). It is also beneficial for fighting candida in your gut (overgrowth of yeast). Of coarse, raw garlic is the most powerful source because cooking it can destroy some of the nutrients. If you have not acquired a taste for raw garlic, the next best thing is finding a good supplement. Taking it daily can help promote overall health including keeping your immune system strong!


This herbaceous flowering plant¬†has very serious healing powers for your immune system & your body’s cells. It stimulates the overall activity of the cells responsible for fighting all kinds of infection.. making it effective for fighting bacteria, viruses, and abnormal cells- including cancer cells. Again- very serious healing powers! Most wellness/immune boosting vitamins will contain this, you could also take it as its own supplement or a echinacea tea. My favorite echinacea tea is by Yogi called Echinacea Immune Support Tea. Its paired with elderberry– which is also a great immune boosting aid. I personally have not used it like the other items listed here, but its worth looking it to!


Of coarse, these tools work best with a well balanced lifestyle that includes a nutritious diet, proper rest, and being active. When I first started learning about building my immune system and using these tools.. I lived a pretty average life- not the healthiest or the unhealthiest. Seeing the impact of tools like this encouraged me to learn more about living a well balanced life. Even now though, at my peak of health- eating a very clean/healthy diet, exercising regularly, & getting plenty of rest.. I still turn to these tools. Our bodies are constantly under attack, and all it takes is that right moment for something to line up & boom.. we are sick. Whether its unexpected stress, lack of sleep, poor food choices.. or whatever.. We have to keep our bodies protected & prepared!

Tips for having a Healthy Relationship with Food

The American culture on how we view food.. is ALL WRONG. We are so obsessed with our food.. What sounds good.. I am craving this.. I have to have a burger.. I need something sweet. When in reality most of the things we “want” or “crave” is actually nothing our body really needs. If anything its the total opposite & contributing to our declining health.

So how do we change this? I personally changed this by rebuilding my relationship with food. My mindset, my focus, how I felt when I ate.. and I educated myself on what my body really wanted when it was having cravings.

Mind Over Matter

Half of the battle, if not more is in your mind. Food is such a way of life in our culture, and we are spoiled because we can have whatever we want.. whenever we want.. so why not? My biggest struggle when I was cutting out gluten & processed sugar of my life was my mindset. Dwelling on what I “couldn’t” or “shouldn’t” eat.. thinking “I can’t” give up these foods. I started to become bitter about it.. and eventually it lead to me falling back on my plan & eating items with gluten & sugar. It took several relapses.. my skin & stomach getting out of whack for me to finally realize I needed to change my thoughts & get it together!! Which leads me to my next tip..

Focus on What You Can Have (aka… Be Positive!)

When all you do is sit around thinking about what you “can’t” have.. it only makes you want to eat it more. As I mentioned, I cut out processed sugar & gluten out of my life, which was for Candida Overgrowth in my gut & a skin issue. When I first went gluten & sugar free.. all I thought about was the stuff I couldn’t eat. I can’t eat a donut, or cake.. No more ice cream.. No more all the desserts & things I have loved most of my life! Yes, I was having a pity party… and it took about 6 months for me to get it together & realize I need to stop focusing on what I can’t have.. and focus on what I CAN have. I can have luscious green salads, lean meats, fruits.. and vegetables. I can open my mind to new foods & arise to the challenge of finding healthy alternatives to the things I love. The moment I focused on all the good I could have.. A big door opened & I was introduced to a whole new world of foods.

Eat with a Purpose in Mind

I hate to be the barrier of bad news.. but eating is not a luxury! It is the means to which we fuel our bodies. So its time to start treating it that way.. You can do it.. I promise!! Do the research, understand what your body needs to thrive & supply your body with it.

Practice Gratitude

Be grateful for the food you are eating. Be grateful that you have a healthy meal that is going to nourish your body. If you are a religious person.. there is a good chance you say a prayer before you eat.. but you can even take it further than that. With every bit of food, thoroughly chew your food.. feel the texture.. taste the different flavor. Eating a wholesome meal can be a spiritual experience! It may sound silly.. but don’t knock it until you try it!

Understanding the Root of Cravings

Your body is a magnificent machine that tells you everything you need to know.. You just have to know how to listen. Getting your mind right, understanding how to fuel your body, & appreciating nutritious foods will all help in building a healthy relationship with food.. but there is a physical aspect to understand as well.

Coming from an “Ex Sugar-aholic”.. Food cravings are the worst. The even harder part is that all the processed, chemical filled foods we eat.. most of which are loaded up with sugar, are highly addictive & leave us stripped of the nutrition we need. So our bodies are not only going to send out cravings for the nutrition it needs, but also for the junk that it is withdrawing from. So next time your craving something salty or sweet.. Try to figure out what your body really needs.

What Your Skin Problem Could Be Trying To Tell You & Tips To Help

My Skin Story

This is a subject that is very close to the heart for me. Without the skin issues I have suffered from in the recent years, it may have taken me years to realize the damage I was causing to my gut. My skin problems were the beginning of my path towards a natural & healthy lifestyle.

When I was 22 years old I developed Dermatitis on my face. A skin issue that effected the lower part of my face, causing is to be red, blotchy, dry, & irritated. I went to the dermatologist, was prescribed a topical steroid & antibiotic. After about a year of faithful use of the medicines, I returned to the doctor frustrated, and his only solution was to take a months worth of oral antibiotics.. which was not happening! So out of pure frustration I turned to Google for answers. and I found a ladies blog that changed EVERYTHING for me.. come to find out all the chemicals in the products I was using & dry skin was the root of this disease. After switching to all natural products, using ACV to clean my face & coconut oil to moisturize it.. my skin cleared up beautifully!

I wasn’t in the clear yet though.. at 24 years old another challenged arouse. I started getting Keratosis Pilaris bumps severely on my chest & back. It was horrible. I buckled down on my natural remedies.. exfoliated.. did everything right & still it never fully cleared up. Soon the answer came to me in all the nutritional reading I was doing.. Gluten. A key sign that you have a gluten allergy is this type of skin issue. And to top it off my high intake of processed sugar was reeking havoc on my stomach & fueling the inflammation behind this type of skin disease.

Fighting my skin issues from the outside wasn’t enough. Finding the right combination of removing the bad and replacing it with good was the key to my skin health… and is the key to many skin problems. Whether its acne, dry skin, oily skin, psoriasis, eczema.. or any issue.. you may want to rethink what you are putting on & in your body.

Steps to Help with Skin Issues

1. Switch to Natural Body Care

Our skin is considered our third kidney and most mainstream product lines we put on our body to absorb are FULL of chemicals. My eye opener was ingredient called sodium lauryl sulfate (it has many different forms & names), which irritated my dermatitis. This is just one of many chemicals used in our everyday products. Here is a list of items to consider switching & some brand suggestions that I personally use.

2. Cut Out Processed Foods & Sugars

Foods that have been processed & that are full of sugar contribute to inflammation in our bodies… and our skin tends to be the first place to show when we make poor food choices. For example oily skin or acne can be the result of eating too many fried, greasy foods. Bottom line removing these types of food will benefit you beyond just your skin.

3. Try Elimination Diet

Main ingredients such as gluten & dairy can be the root of inflammation problems throughout the body & skin. The best way to find out is by eliminating anything that you are suspicious of causing you problems. Listen to your body.. feel how it reacts to certain foods. Gluten didn’t even bother my stomach when I ate it, just my skin. Try a 1 month diet free of those foods & see how you feel. If your problem clears up.. then you may want to consider permanently removing it.

4. Increase intake of Foods & Supplements that Encourage Skin Health

Not only is it important to remove foods from your diet that could be hurting your skin health, but its also just as important to be getting the right foods to be contributing to it. Eating fresh whole foods like vegetables & fruits, healthy fats: avocado, seeds, nuts, coconut oil, & nut butters.. will help contribute nutrients that your skin needs

A vitamin or mineral deficiency may also be playing a role in your skin health. Ideally an optimal diet would provide what your body with what it needs, but in today’s world that can be very difficult. Getting your Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) is important for skin, brain, & heart health. Also, getting a full spectrum of Vitamin A-E is important & minerals like zinc, magnesium, & selenium. A good start to insure you are getting these is a good multivitamin. Garden of Life is a trustworthy brand.

5. Take a break from steaming hot shower

Don’t kill the messenger! Lol. When your skin is having a flare up or really dry.. long hot showers are so hard on your sensitive skin. So try laying off the hot showers to give your skin a break.

6. Drink Plenty of Water!

Drinking plenty of water will not only benefit your skin, but your entire body. Getting enough water fuels your body, helps remove toxins, aids in digestion, and will promote fresh, healthy skin. On average research suggest around 2.3 liters a day for woman & 3 liters for men.

Also try eating foods that have a high water content: watermelon, grapefruit, lettuce, broccoli, & apples are great choices.

Blueberry Banana Cinnamon Muffins (Gluten-Free!)

This recipe is the first gluten-free baked item that I have ever made.. and WOW! So yummy! When I first went gluten-free, hoping to clear up a skin condition.. I just avoided all types bread because most gluten-free bread items are FULL of sugar. So I went about 6 months without any of these items.. and I was starting to feel so deprived.

I originally saw the recipe for these muffins on Wellness Mama’s¬†blog. I had found a lot of recipes that looked good to me, but her Apple Cinnamon Muffins jumped out at me. They were simple, gluten-free, & had no added sugar. Another thing.. it was a good base recipe with different flavor options for you to play with.

My first go at the regular recipe was really good! The next time I made them I decided to do a different flavor option, by substituting¬†out some of the apple sauce for a overripe banana, and I also added fresh blueberries & chopped pecans. My inspiration.. my mother’s incredible homemade blueberry muffins & banana nut bread that I have missed so much.

So here it goes.. Simple Ingredients: Eggs, Applesauce, Banana, Coconut Flour, Cinnamon, Baking Soda, Vanilla, Coconut Oil, and Honey + Blueberries & Chopped Pecans. (Full Recipe Below)


First- Mix all the base ingredients (everything except blueberries & pecans) in a bowl. I used a hand mixer… and it only takes a few minutes to get everything whipped together & smooth. It’s a very light textured dough.


Let the ingredients stand for 5 minutes. This is a great time to grease your muffin pan with coconut oil. Don’t be shy with the coconut oil, I was the first time & my muffins stuck when I removed them from the pan!

Once you have let the ingredients stand for 5 minutes, gently mix in the blueberries & pecans (with a large spoon). I used almost all of one small container of blueberries & about a cup of chopped pecans. You can add as much or little as you would like here. I personally want blueberry & pecan in every bite! The only issue I came across being¬†generous with the blueberries.. the muffins that had more at the bottom weren’t as firm, and came apart a little bit when I removed them from the pan. Which just effects their look.. not taste ūüôā


Once your blueberries & pecans are mixed in, use 1/3 measuring cup to spoon into your muffin pan. Then bake @ 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean.. my oven took about 17 minutes- its old!).


Let cool… and ENJOY!! Oh.. and drizzle honey on top to add a little extra sweetness! (optional)


Reheat Suggestion: Slice in half, butter (or use healthy oil) & toast in oven. I absolutely love eating them this way for breakfast!


  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of homemade apple sauce, or store-bought (unsweetened)
  • 1 overripe banana
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 small package of fresh blueberries (used about 3/4 of it)
  • 1/2-1 cup of chopped pecans (as desired)


  1. Preheat over to 400 degrees.
  2. Put all ingredients into a medium size bowl (except for blueberries & pecans) and mix until smooth.
  3. Let sit for 5 minutes. Then hand mix in blueberries & chopped pecans.
  4. Grease muffin pan with coconut oil.
  5.  Use 1/3 measure cup to spoon into muffin pan.
  6. Bake 12-15 minutes until starting to brown and not soft when lightly touched (also check with toothpick)
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes & serve. Drizzle with honey for added sweetness (if desired).

How Yoga Taught Me to Meditate, Stretch & So Much More

Yoga is phenomenal for your mind, body, & soul. Yet many may never try it, because they are scared of it, don’t know where to start..or think it’s just not for them. No one wants to be the new person in the hour long yoga class, struggling, & confused. Thankfully I found a great solution to starting yoga & I gained more from it than I could ever expect.

Years ago, I came across yoga DVD from Gaiam called¬†AM Yoga for Your Week. It’s a series of 5 different yoga segments, about 25 minutes each.. that is very basic, yet very beneficial. The thing I appreciated most about the DVD was the instructor guidance throughout each segment. Yoga Master Rodney Yee, not only has an incredibly relaxing voice (lol), but he really breaks down each move, tells you what your body should feel like, reminds to breath & relax.

I personally, am a little on the high-strung side & it is so hard for me to sit still, relax, & clear my mind. When I first started doing this DVD my intentions were to merely learn some basic yoga. With time I learned to really listen to the instructor.. to focus on my breathing.. and to feel every move my body was making.

Before I knew it I went from high-strung.. could never clear my mind.. to meditating! It was amazing!! And the stretching techniques I learned I have carried over into a stretching routine I do after every workout. I have also created my own yoga/meditation routine out of this that I do in the morning or evening.

Learning to focus on my breathing & feeling how my body moves has assisted me in being able to be calm.. which in turn has helped me become more spiritual & manage my anxiety.

The list of yoga benefits goes on.. and on. Just the stretching alone will improve your blood flow, increase flexibility & range of motion in your joints.. which helps prevent injury! Most importantly, it improves overall wellness for your mind, body, & soul.

It doesn’t matter where or how you are getting started.. Just give it a chance! A great resource I have found recently is the¬†GaiamTV¬†website. It has an extensive collection of Yoga videos, even for beginners.. it also has other fitness videos, health, & spiritual resources. So you can try it from the comfort of your own home! Why Coconut Oil is Amazing

Coconut oil is incredible for your body inside & out! I found out about this amazing product several years ago when I was suffering from dermatitis on my face.. Little did I know I was discovering my go to cure all for problems for my body inside & out.

Coconut oil itself is a healthy fat, that is anti-bacterial & anti-fungal.. so it has the ability to fight off fungus, bacteria, & viruses.. It is also an incredible moisturizer for you skin, hair, & nails.

Here are some personal uses I have found it great for:

  • Cooking- it has a high smoke point (for more info- click here)
  • Adding to smoothies to boost flavor
  • Makeup remover
  • Natural deodorant¬†¬†(click for recipe)
  • Oil Pulling¬†– this is a new one for me & its amazing!! Check on the link for directions & benefits! Defiantly a must to add to your daily routine.
  • When paired with Apple Cider Vinegar: clears up dermatitis, acne.. and other skin flare ups
  • Coffee creamer (referred to by a friend)
  • Helps remove scars over longterm use
  • Natural misquote & bug repellent (mosquitoes are attracted to a bacteria on your skin, Coconut oil is anti-fungal & anti-bacterial!)
  • When paired with Aloe vera gel: helps soothe & heal sunburns faster.

Some tips for using it:

Skin Care– I have found that it absorbs best right out of the shower on damp skin. Especially if you suffer from dry, sensitive skin.. you should pat dry (do not rub dry.. its so hard on sensitive skin!), leaving your skin a little moist, then apply. Walking around throughout your day oily can not be ideal, so I recommend doing it at night time. Give yourself time to dry out a little bit. Also- ladies it removes make up, so don’t use it on your face when your trying to wear make up. ūüėČ

Hair Care– a friend of mine helped clear a eczema flare up on her scalp by using Apple Cider Vinegar, followed by Coconut oil & letting it sit. If you can leave it over night.. it gives it even more time to work. Note: a little goes a long ways with the coconut oil.. I learned this lesson the hard way & had to rinse my hair several times before the oiliness came out!

Internal Care– I use about 1 Tbsp for smoothies & cooking. You will learn to adjust it according to your flavor preference. I would not recommend eating it straight on a empty stomach.. another lesson I learned the hard way! They also make coconut oil supplements, which may be an easier way to get your daily dose.

5 Healthy Daily Habits

When trying to conquer the world of health.. these are some of the most basic daily habits I have come across, that are manageable to fit in your everyday life.

1. Start your morning with a glass of water

Waking up and drinking a glass of water first thing has a list of benefits to it! Besides the obvious importance of hydrating your body, it also jump starts your metabolism, helps purify your colon to aid in nutrition absorption, balances your lymph system, aids in weight loss… and thats just naming a few of the benefits!

You can boost and follow it with warm water with lemon– which helps detox your body. Lemon water also aids with digestion & is great to drink throughout the day or with meals. Or boost it even more and add Apple Cider Vinegar to your lemon water… which adds even more benefits to the list!

2. Take a Probiotic

If you take one vitamin a day- this is the supplement you should invest in.. The list of health benefits is endless! The good bacteria flora in your body determines everything- how you digest food, your weight, how you fight of sickness, cancer, & disease.. and food allergies. I introduced probiotics into my life regularly about 5 years ago & ever since then I have only been sick about 3 times. One of my favorite ways to get my Probiotic dose is- KeVita Sparkling Probiotic Drink

3. Eat more greens

Adding more greens to your everyday diet is extremely beneficial for your energy levels, to strengthen your immune system, to have healthy glowing skin.. and they are packed with essential nutrients for your body!

Leafy greens like kale, spinach, collard greens, & romaine lettuce contain iron, zinc, and magnesium.. and will also help alkalize your body. So whether you drink a green juice, blend it in a smoothie, or have a salad full of colorful vegetables.. Eat Your Greens!

4. Get Physical

Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health. We all have different levels of fitness, but the important thing is to just get your body moving!! In a perfect world, your physical activities would be a healthy mix of cardio, weights and stretching.. but getting any physical activity in is better than none at all. Just give it a chance.. break a sweat..and the more you get moving.. the more you will want to do!

5. Avoid processed foods & sugar

Yes.. I said.. you should trying to avoid eating about 80-90% of the food options out there! I know.. it sounds crazy.. but it is possible. If you focus on filling your diet with more fresh, wholesome foods.. you will find that there is less want for the bad stuff. Processed foods & sugars reek havoc on our bodies.. if you have any type of health problem from digestive, skin, attention disorders, to weakened immune system.. You should defiantly consider cutting back.

A great suggestion I recently came across is to eat more foods that don’t require labeling.. aka fresh foods. The 80/20 rule (80% healthy/20%unhealthy) is a great goal to start with. Good luck! ūüôā

Finding A Happier and Healthier You

Many people run from or rebel against the ideal image of “being healthy”.. because of all the standards that come with it. It is so easy to become overwhelmed when searching for ways to improve your health & happiness, especially with all the information available now.

I believe, where people go wrong is listening to everyone else’s standards.. Do this.. do that.. eat this.. don’t eat that! It’s very understandable that someone reaches the point of total frustration & abandons ship all together.

The solution? Set your own standards! Listen to your own body! Yes.. be open-minded to advice and knowledge others can provide you with.. but ultimately you know your body best.. and what fuels your mind, body, & soul.

Being healthy is nothing more than nourishing your body.. Finding what fuels you & helps you be a better person overall. It’s not about “dieting” and restricting yourself. Which may be difficult to see in the world we live in today.. because what is “natural” has become the abnormal & what is “unnatural” is what is normal.

I can’t tell you how many times I hear.. “What you don’t drink sodas?”… “You don’t eat gluten?”… “You avoid processed sugar?”.. You must be so deprived!!

Well I am not deprived.. I am thriving! Those things are so unnatural for your body, and in return they have very negative effects on you.

Come to find out my high sugar diet was one of the sources of my skin problems (next to gluten), it created fuel for my anxiety & even triggered depression. I use to turn to sugar to calm me.. and little did I know the real damage it was causing until it started to cut it out of my diet.

The scariest part was how addicted I was to processed sugars & foods. The more I had them.. the more my body wanted them. It seemed impossible at first to overcome the cravings.. especially with sugar. But the less I had them.. the less my body began to want them.

As long as I don’t sit around thinking about that things I shouldn’t eat.. and focus on the things that make me feel good.. I feel good. I now satisfy my sweet tooth with dark chocolate & fruit.. and body craves spinach salads filled with vegetables.

It’s unbelievable how you can retrain your body.. if you just give it a chance. It’s not an overnight process & sometimes you may get off track. I started this process a few years ago, and I am still growing and making changes.

I do not know all the answers.. all the right ways.. but I do know the healthier choices I make.. the better my body feels. Which lifts my spirit & ultimately makes me a happier & healthier me.

So I challenge you¬†‚ÄĒ What steps could you make? Could you add more fresh greens to your life? Cut out sodas? Eat less fried & processed foods? Find healthier alternatives for the things you like?

Give your body a chance to truly thrive & watch your overall happiness grow!! ♥

This first section of the book explains all the basics of nutrition, and the second section is a A-Z reference for drug free remedies. Its a must have!!

The Mastery of Love – A book by Don Miguel Ruiz. A practical guide of the Art of Relationship that explains how fear-based beliefs and assumptions that undermine love and lead to suffering in our relationships. I am currently reading this book & I highly suggest it as a must read. Not just for relationship guidance, but for self love and understanding how fear truly holds us back.
